If I were a snowflake…

Well let’s go back, before I was a snowflake. I was in the Ocean , it was getting kinda hot, and all of the sudden I was floating! I just kept going up no matter what I did . Then I ran Into a big white fluffy thing. And it was so windy, I was soon flying over the land. And then it got really cold, and I froze into this crystal. then it happened, I fell like a rock, but I wasn’t a rock,  I was a snowflake! Everybody was. I was In the air for a minute or so, then I hit the ground on top other snowflakes.I sat there for a about an hour so, then a kid ran out and picked me up with some others and threw me, I hit something then it picked me up and can you guess what it did?It threw me! After a while they went in and I stayed there for a day or two, and I melted. I seeped through the ground and a in a month I found myself in the sea. Of course I had other snowflake adventures, like the time a scientist picked me up and looked at me though a big tube. And when that guy stepped on me. Here we go again, up, up, and away!

George Washington

delaware

I chose to write about George Washington because he was the first president and he was also the Commander in Chief of the entire Continental Army.

In one battle he was crossing the Delaware river on the night of the 24th of December. The Hessians had been celebrating Christmas, and got drunk.  His plan was simple, row across a frozen river to the enormous Hessian army of well trained soldiers with a small group who did not know a thing about fighting.  He took a lot of prisoners, killed a lot of Hessians and won a great victory for America.
